Former US citizen died in one of the battles in Eastern Ukraine

Former US citizen - volunteer with nickname Franco died in the battle with pro-Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine, reported by BuzzFeed.


Ex-american died on August, 19 in the battle for the suburb of Donetsk – Ilovaysk town. The name of the ex-American native isn't revealed – reported only that his nickname was "Franco". He moved from the US to the Mariupol city in Ukraine ten years ago. He had an apartment in Lviv and he was going to retire and move to Carpathians Mountains after the end of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. We know that he was around 50 years old. He join to the Ukrainian army battalion "Donbass" as volunteer in April 2014.
